Michael Khavinson
Managing PartnerMichael brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across consulting, life sciences, finance, and technology. As a Managing Partner at Ramius, he works closely with founders, executives, and investors to guide businesses through growth by removing operational friction and aligning infrastructure with long-term value creation.
In addition to his operating roles, Michael serves as an investor, advisor, and board member to multiple emerging-growth and professional services companies. This perspective keeps him closely aligned with the priorities of founders, venture capital, and private equity partners, from operational maturity and governance to capital strategy and exit planning.
Previously, Michael served as Chairman and CEO of Azzur Group, where he led the company’s evolution into a national platform spanning consulting, cleanroom, and laboratory services.

Managing PartnerRyan is a founder, operator, and advisor with a proven track record of scaling complex, multi-entity organizations. As a Managing Partner at Ramius, he leads operational strategy, partnership development, and execution, helping businesses design infrastructure that supports sustainable growth and long-term enterprise value.
Ryan’s experience spans the full lifecycle of a business, from capitalization and rapid expansion to integration and exit. He has led national growth initiatives, built centralized Business Resource Management platforms, and guided companies through private equity-backed transactions and strategic exits, even in volatile market conditions.
Previously, Ryan held senior leadership roles at Azzur Group, where he scaled operations to more than 500 employees and helped drive the organization to $115M+ in peak annual revenue.

Ilya Vasserman
Managing PartnerIlya is a technology, finance, and operations executive specializing in building scalable back-office platforms. As a Managing Partner at Ramius, he designs and oversees the systems and infrastructure that allow growing businesses to operate with clarity, efficiency, and real-time insight.
Previously, Ilya served as CIO of Azzur Group, where he led financial systems, IT infrastructure, and digital transformation across 14 entities. His work included implementing executive dashboards, automating financial workflows, and modernizing cloud and hybrid environments to support rapid organizational growth.
Earlier in his career, Ilya founded a real estate development firm managing more than $50M in projects and held senior technology leadership roles across consulting, insurance, and healthcare sectors.
